Mini-Post Monday No. 3

Pantry Organization Started!

I’m very excited to share that I’ve started organizing my pantry and so far it looks great! I do have some 2019 remnant organizations in the form of inexpensive baskets with labels. BUT, the before here was rough nothing was staying in those designated baskets. Now, I’ve go things re-arranged and organized. This has made it much easier to decide what kind of storage I want to include. I intend on getting rid of all of the boxes in place of cute containers and label them. So, if you’d like to join me on this pantry organization journey. Here’s what you need to do to get to this point:

  1. Clear out anything you don’t need or is old and stale.
  2. Take everything off your shelves and wipe them clean.
  3. Place similar foods together.
  4. Use what storage items you currently have.
  5. Place everything back on the shelves where you think it would best fit.
  6. Take stock. What do you have? Is this a consistent item in your pantry? If so, consider what storage vessel would be most appropriate for your needs.
  7. Make a list and search online for places that might have what you’re looking for.

Here’s where I’m at right now. It’s a start but I still have a ways to go to feel like it’s truly organized and complete. But that’s what this is all about. Take your time give yourself grace and feel the calming effects of an appealing storage area. May sure you follow my blog to keep up with the next steps in the process!
