I have taken a few weeks off from blogging. Why you ask? Because of the craziness that is life with one plus twins and we are also considering moving. Who knows if that’ll actually happen, but it’s on the table.
So right now I’ve got a fun update for you guys. I am planning a little shift. I was really into doing motherhood posts because I feel like there’s not a lot out there about twins, but now I think its time for a pivot. I need to focus on what I love and what I love is baking and sewing. So because of that, I am going to start posting a bit more about sewing and get back into that because it’s something that really makes me happy.
So for my first official sewing blog post, I am going to make a really cute little Easter dress for my one year old daughter. I’ve already decided that it’s going to be a shift dress because I’m going to start simple. It’s been awhile since I’ve sewn clothing, and I’ve actually never made clothing for a baby before. But you know, I’ll probably save a lot of money on yardage, so that’ll be a happy point for my wallet!
I’m planning on sharing the pattern with you guys for free, so that’ll be a fun little addition. I will plan to grade it as well, that way you don’t have to make the exact same size that I’m making.
