I adore fall! I also love fall sweaters. They are cozy fast and easy. It’s also much easier to maintain a chic polished look. You can wear whatever you want to wear under them. It’s not the middle of winter which requires excessive layers. You’re not uncomfortably hot or sticky. It’s just perfection. I was also born in the fall so I may be partial.
The biggest part of sweater shopping is buying what you need in the right price range. So when you’re shopping for a staple you’ll wear year after year then spend a little more. If you’re not sure you love the style or you’re testing it out (whether it’s a classic or a trend) then opt for something that’s more affordable. Only upgrade that piece if you wear it so much that you end up wearing it out.
